Aerosol
Grupo de partículas sólidas o líquidas transportadas por el aire que pueden sobrevivir en la atmósfera al menos durante unas horas. Su tamaño varía entre los 0,01 y 10 mm.
Pueden tener un origen natural o antropogénico e influyen en el clima directa o indirectamente. De forma directa: dispersando o absorbiendo la radiación, y de forma indirecta: actuando como núcleos de condensación en la formación de nubes, o bien modificando sus propiedades ópticas y tiempo de vida.
